I was a little hesitant before booking but I had noticed that this brasserie had consistently good reviews so we booked a table for four last Saturday evening and we were not disappointed on the opposite quite impressed. It is a family venue where...children are welcome and it is well used by the local people. It is simple and modern in style possibly too much light to our taste but it is part of style. The food was superb with a wide range of starters and main dishes. I took their local specialty which is rabbit terrine this was lovely. They also offered souris de Kangourou as main or duck and I ventured with the kangourou which was beautifully cooked so what the duck according to my friends. The chocolate mouse was one of the best I have tasted for many years so well done. The overall cost including one beer/ wine was very reasonable and possibly 50% cheaper than you would get in the UK and this for a 3 courses meal. Well to the chef we will go back to this restaurant.
On a quick day visit stopped here for the fabulous Tuesday market, do visit it. We loved the atmosphere bustling with locals lots of laughs and possibly the best coffee we have had in Avery long time. We went elsewhere for lunch but now wish...we had stayed
