Asaysia Wine Dine - Detroit

I have the reservation last Saturday with a group of 9. we had a friend from the city and we wanted to show her detroit best. after a $70 drive from the suburbs to the city we came only from the car to notice that the restaurant was closed - lighter out, no one inside and no sign on the door. I felt terrible. it was 7:15 and everything else was crazy busy, we spent a decent part of the rest of the night trying to find a place where we could all come to eat:

Absolutely terrible. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 5 years and this is the exact opposite of how to run a restaurant. we were greeted by the hostess rudely. she rolled her eyes in front of us and let the fiest rudeness look upon her face. it seemed like we were such a huge inconvenience, just being there. when we were fed, she began to take away the additional placements and cutlery and said loudly, “I don’t even know what I’m doing,” she said nothing about our server. we sat there and looked for approx. 10 minutes without confirmation of employees. we noticed some other tables that were sitting before us that were not even greeted. Moreover, there was a man in jeans and a T-shirt that seemed like one of the owners who walk around with his phone headset, don't smile at anyone or talk to any customer. I should have listed the reviews before the arrival. what a waste of space, where could be another successful restaurant.

Terrible experience. we were on time for our reservation of 6 o'clock. No one who sits on us. No one who ever came to our table. I couldn't even fill our waterglasses! even after starting from no less than 5 different people, including the manager! we saw 4 tables (3 four top and 1 two top) standing up and going before we finally get the same 35 minutes later. another table stood up to go, but just sat back because they were connected to the manager and he promised to go to the kitchen and serve them what was ever ready to go. No matter the poor suckers who were there waited for this command. horribly run. I'd drop them off open table if I were them.

Not enough servers, so service was very slow; however food was excellent

Went for a birthday celebration. The hostess was great however the overall service was pretty slow. And did not know their menu. There where only a few tables in the restaurant at the time so there was not reason it took 30 minutes to get out drinks. Or 15 minutes to even take our drink orders. The food was not amazing and was very small portions for the price. The hostess did celebrate a birthday very well with a free drink and nice dessert so that was a plus.
