Astro Coffee - Detroit

Astro's temporary facility in Braterei is cozy and functional. It offers the same great coffee, espresso drinks, and service as the flagship location, plus Ochre is conveniently located right next door. Nothing beats a flat white paired with a almond croissant. There are plenty of seating options in the central city park, along with ample nearby parking.

Astro has good coffee, experienced bars and a good selection of equipment/beans for homebow. really good eiersandwich too. the outside seat area will sometimes have dogs in cute pullovers.

This is the best coffee I’ve ever had! The espresso drinks are expertly crafted, making it a fantastic overall experience. When you purchase a donut, you receive a free coffee, and the donuts are truly the largest you'll find. I highly recommend this place!

I've been visiting Astro since 2016, and I’m thrilled to see it reopen, even better than before. I appreciate that they consistently offer affordable, high-quality coffee options, and their expanded bakery menu showcases the outstanding work of their sister storefront, Ochre. Astro still stands out as the best coffee shop in Corktown, even amidst a growing selection of intense competition.

Wish they still had indoor seating areas. Too many bugs and bees outside to eat peacefully. Also, latte with latte art on a paper cup felt sad . But overall wasn’t bad. The almond croissant is amazing. I have never had a more delicious croissant in my life. The egg sandwich is also great!
