Bangkok 96 Street Food - Detroit

I had the Bangkok 96 at the shipping company. Loved that I could enjoy a delicious meal while my family had a choice of their favorites with all the options there. I had multiple chicken dishes here plus their mango rice dessert. Never had an issue!

Great food and knowledgeable about allergies. Ordered the fried shrimp and it was amazing.

I was able to eat here but had the grilled chicken. The owner did tell me they also fry the gluten spring rolls in the fryer so the fryer is not safe. Food was good.

I believe it’s the owner of this establishment that has celiac and has done a great job of training the staff. The small prep space has always made me nervous about CC but I’ve eaten here probably a dozen times and have never gotten sick. One time, they were closing down early because it was a slow evening and had stopped taking orders, but they went out of their way to make sure my family and I could eat and prepared us a meal anyway. I was very grateful for that. The food always tastes great too.

I asked about their fryer and they said all the batter they use is GF, so fried things are safe! I had the fried broccoli and fried chicken rice and it was amazing. I did not get sick either. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their GF options!
