Cass Café - Detroit

Absolutely great find! Good food, ambience and the service is something i was very very impressed by. Definitely recommend and will come back for the food, price, lovely staff and the general vibe of the place.

Simple little cafe by the University. Wonderful quiet place to study. Vegans: only two options. I was expecting more as it said that it is vegan online. The brocoli soup (vegan) is horrible. The coconut curry (vegan) is excellent and I highly recommend it. Even for non vegan. Good presentation of dishes. Friendly staff.

Went for a romantic Valentine's dinner, and that's definitely what I got. The atmosphere of this place made us feel like we were dining in an art gallery. The food was good, the music choice was great, the staff was phenomenal. Can't think of a thing that could be better

I lived in Cass Corridor growing up and on and off for 48 years. Cass Cafe has been very good to me good food good friends. Great atmosphere. Shout out to Dave Robert's for showing my artwork here came for the total experience. The posthumous art show for Detroit artist Rico Africa, and the beer battered fish and chips. Sorry no photos. I began visiting this place for art shows in the mid-nineties during my teenage years. Back then, I often found my way into their smoking section and continued to enjoy their food! Fortunately, like many other local restaurants, the quality here has never wavered, and they consistently serve their signature dishes. The Cass Cafe has truly become an institution and exemplifies what a dining experience in Detroit should be!
