Detroit Eatery Midtown

Really good food! Ordered butter chicken with rice and garlic naan, 2 Jamaican beef patties and 2 vegetable samosas. I was pleasantly surprised. They used dark meat in the butter chicken, which I LOVE. You can customize with more sauce, more meat, etc. The sauce was a touch on the thinner side but still held up really well with a building heat that's perfect. The garlic naan was incredibly soft, subtle garlic but still flavourful. The biryani was very tasty, again subtle but flavourful. And the beef patties tasted great. Not generic or (grocery) store bought.Placed my order through Uber Eats, forgot to request cutlery but they happily accommodated when I called.Love the diverse menu and would definitely try other items.

Okay, so this is gonna be a very strange review. The food here is quite exceptional! However, this restaurant, It's not really a real restaurant, it's more of a catering and commercial kitchen. But they do have a couple of tables outside on the sidewalk. There is pretty much zero atmosphere here, unless you like post-apocalyptic kitchen vibes. I recommend take out or delivery because the food is excellent ?

I havent eaten here yet but i wanted to share my experience. I attempted to order online from their Royal Oak location but it switched my pick up tp midtown and i wasnt in that area. I contacted the location and spoke to Ryhan and he worked with me at 11pm to make sure I was able to get an almost $30 refund. It definitely made me feel like they have their customers best interest and I definitely plan to try their food one day soon. Customer service was superb. Thanks again. :

We order the veggie samosa, saag paneer, Chana masala, garlic naan EVERYTHING was delicious. The house made mango lassis were a show stopper. I will definitely be back for the chocolate
