El Taquito Taco Truck - Detroit

I'm from Florida, and whenever I visit Michigan, I make it a point to stop by El Taquito Tacos. Their tacos are absolutely delicious, and I can’t get enough of them. Food rating: 5/5.

The food is tasty, but make sure to double-check your order before you leave. In my experience, 3 out of 5 times I’ve been there, I’ve ended up with something completely different from what I ordered. However, they do get it right when it comes to ringing you up. Also, if you use a debit or credit card, they always seem to pressure you into leaving a tip by displaying suggested amounts on the screen. I typically tip as well, but I prefer to do it my own way. Please let me offer my tip instead of being shown a screen with preset amounts. So, my advice is to bring cash!

When I first visited the market where El Taquitos Taco Truck is usually parked, I had trouble finding the truck. However, two days later, when I returned, I spotted it next to the parking lot of E&L Supermercado. I ordered the al pastor corn taco and the shrimp tostadas. Upon receiving my order, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of meat and the ample amount of shrimp and toppings on the tostadas. Both dishes were delicious. The photo of the tostadas doesn't quite capture their size, but they were definitely loaded with plenty of toppings.

Omg!!! I stumbled upon this truck being nosy and ended up with something yummy in my tummy!!! My second time back and I’m full!! This food truck has the best food!!! That surf and turf is soooooo delicious!!! Look at how huge these things are!!!Awesome staff and I will be back!!!

Chicken tacos were the bomb. I wanted to start dancing. This place is legit.
