Elwood Bar Grill - Detroit

Let's go. Wow, this place has changed a lot in the last 30 years. We stopped here to pass the time while waiting to go to the monster jam pre-party at Ford Field. The restaurant was full of people with the same laid-back attitude. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. I am happy to see that Elwood's has stood the test of time and has adapted to benefit from Detroit's revival. My favorite part of the visit was when the manager quickly noticed a disruptive customer and asked them to leave. It's nice to see that some things never change. Just to clarify, I would have also assumed the person was a vagrant, but the manager was very apologetic for the misunderstanding.

The elwood is perfectly located between ford field and comerica park. we just blew up to the bar and had our choice over a dozen beers on the hahn. server are very friendly, and service is fast and good, despite the mass. there is a large covered outdoor area for people to congregate. perfect stadium bar.

After a recommendation from a guide, we decided to give this place a try. It is a bar with a food menu located between Comerica Field and Ford Field, making it a great location. We had a beer and a cheese steak, which were both good. We also ordered quesadillas that were very tasty. The service was excellent, with the waitress being super friendly and warm. We loved this kind of service and will definitely be back. Great job, and this woman deserves a raise!

Stopped here before a Tigers game. They opened a bit earlier than their posted hours. Staff was friendly and checked on our table regularly. My Classic Grilled Cheese w/fries was incredibly tasty. The basil leaves were a nice touch and the rye bread was great. The fries were seasoned and delicious. Even came with a slice of watermelon on the side. Clean inside and the bathroom was very clean. It's pricey but not that bad considering it is wedged between 2 major league ballparks. I always stop here when I head to games.
