Contribuisci feedbackI can’t imagine a more disappointing experience. The menu on the website was SIGNIFICANTLY different than the one we were presented with upon arrival. Specifically, lower range dining options such as sandwiches and burgers were not available upon arrival, and I specifically chose this restaurant for my family’s gathering based on the site’s nice range of options as we can’t all afford expensive options. Second, we were not given a drinks, beer and wine menu when we were seated, and when we requested it after a long wait, we were given one that had a food menu that was on be website but that we were later told was unavailable. Very confusing.Third, service was dreadfully slow, and the servers were not knowledgeable about what was available. For instance, a beer that my father wanted was not available, plus the confusion about the menu as described above. Insult to injury, three of six of our entrees arrived cold. We told the waitress about this and later asked that two be removed from the bill, to which she graciously complied. The third one was my own, which was marginally cold and I did not speak up about, but in hindsight I should have complained about. I really wanted this dinner to be enjoyed. What I found disturbing was that the food was cold from the bottom of the plate, which tells me the food was premade and reheated.I have to also point out that there were only three tables occupied in the entire restaurant. There is NO CHANCE that the kitchen was overwhelmed with work. I also have to say that we detected multiple times the odor of marijuana.I so wanted to impress upon my fiercely Detroitproud mom and dad years young, and my “snobby” Chicagoan wife that our city was not the “SOD”Same Old Detroit. Epic fail
My husband and I went to this restaurant when we stayed in the hotel here. He ordered a meatball pasta dish which came out stone cold. I ordered the calamary and the gumbo. The gumbo States and the menu that it has chicken, sausage, shrimp, And scallops. It came out the most disgusting Brown I have ever seen and stuck to the side of the bowl. It had tiny specks of chicken and sausage Annette, nothing else. It was heavily salted and tasted warmed up. The calamari, while it looked good, was so rock solid that I cracked it and to pieces with my spoon. It literally shattered. And I do not mean the fried part I mean the actual squid. Unfortunately the beer and the bread were the best part of the meal and we will certainly not return. No discount or refund was offered upon showing the staff members are the problems. Unfortunately we did not have time to send back and order other food so we were out for a meal that we did not eat
Unfortunately the dinner menu has changed which does not include the hamburgers, fries, chicken quesadillas or chicken wings and therefore I will not be back for dinner
Came here for a Valentines Day dinner. stars is very generous due to strictly my assumption that other plates on the menu that I didn't order could possibly be really good since one of the items we had was amazing and I think the place has some possible potential.Lobster mac n cheese Phenomenal!Strip Steak only steak option Garbage. We ordered Medium Rare and it came out Extra Well. Sent it back to have it come back Medium Well. Didn't feel like sending it back a time and just ate a few bites from the middle. I have my doubts it would have been very good if it came out medium rare to be honest.Truffle Fries Decent. I'm not big on fries and actually thought they were pretty good and my girlfriend who loves fries, especially truffle fries, thought they were pretty bad.Peach Cobbler Good flavor but lacked in texture. Decent.Service Attentive and accommodating for how terrible the steak was but when I asked for recommendations the server went no further than to just say all of it. I was in the service industry for years and one of the first things you learn is to have some personal recommendations from each aspect of the menu.Environment There's potential but the open setting to the under construction hotel was not very comfortable at all.If I was the head chef and a table sent me an extremely over cooked steak I would make sure the next one is perfect, if not slightly under cooked and then personally make sure the table likes it while offering my apologies. Even after the second steak was a disaster the chef never made an appearance the restaurant was not busy enough for that to be an excuse.I wouldn't say I would never go here again only because of how good the lobster mac and cheese was, I think there might be potential but I will say I don't have any intention on returning any time soon
Food was excellent! We had salmon florentine and steak with truffle fries. Service was great as well, Rose was our server
