The best breakfast ham and egg sandwich I've ever had! The sandwich was heaped with about 2 of tender delicious ham slices. The egg was cooked to order. I could only eat half and am looking forward to having the other half tomorrow for breakfast. We tried a sample of the ham bean soup also amazing! They also sell huge meaty ham bones. I bought one to make my own bean soup. The restaurant was not busy and the owners chatted with us while we ate. Very nice couple. We'll go back when in the area and may make the drive to buy a whole ham for the holidays.

Fantastic food and friendly people. Definitely worth the trip.

A favorite for 45 years. Fresh food, limited menu, but the very BEST soups and piled high sandwiches. Can't be beat!
