It was busy, more busy than usual. So it did take a bit before we got a drinks and food. But it was totally worth it! The burgers were amazing! Service was nice despite being busy, still personable and kind. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we waited so long.
F this $hithole. Rude bar tender. People getting food that came in 30 minutes after us. Have to get your own drinks and order food at the bar. Wanted to try something new in Detroit, regret that decision. 50 minutes...still waiting for a freaking burger! Edit: Bumped this to 2 stars. Bar tender obviously was overwhelmed and frustrated with the kitchen. We finally received our simple 2 burger order. One was fresh, one had been sitting for a while and was cold. And the fries? More like crumbs. Not a single real fry in the try. Maybe they were short 2 staff people? Not like the place was slammed. Definitely won't be back.
Dear Détroit, Nemo’s staff takes their time to give every customer a quality experience. Passion is present. Compliments to the CHEF who created the best meal of my week. Sincerely, Charlie
I finally went to Nemo's with a proper Irish escort. It is very traditional Detroit and right in the heart of Corktown. You can never go wrong with Guinness on tap. The food is exactly what you'd expect for an old Irish pub in the Irish part of Detroit. If there's a game on TV, it's on at Nemo's. If you're meeting friends downtown before a game, Nemo's is one of your best choices to meet.
