Shield's Restaurant Bar Pizzeria

My pizza was full of sauce and meat like I Love it. My salad was the right portion. The waiter was friendly and attentive. I lived the warmth of Birthday vibes all around me. People were celebrating family friendly events. I left this restaurant filling fulfilled.

I had a great experience with take-out at this restaurant. I’m giving it four stars because it took longer than anticipated for the pizza to be ready, but it was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive!

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and the pizza was decent. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with the service. I placed my order online and arrived at the store 10 minutes after the estimated pickup time, yet my order was still not ready. It seemed like they hadn’t even started making my pizza; when I announced my name, the staff scrambled around as if they were trying to locate it. No one informed me that there would be a delay or that my order wasn’t ready. I ended up waiting an additional 10 minutes, and when they finally brought out my order, it felt like they didn’t realize I had been there the whole time. I strongly believe in the importance of good customer service, whether at a fast food place or a fine dining restaurant. If they had taken a moment to explain the delay for my pre-paid order, I would have rated them three stars.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was outstanding—definitely a 10/10. We ordered a large BBQ chicken pizza, which was delicious and quite substantial. We also shared a chicken sandwich, and they thoughtfully served it on two separate plates, each with fries. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely return!

My husband and I regularly pick up a Detroit style pizza from shield?s and take it to 8 Degrees Plato to pair with the latest local beers. One of our favorite afternoon dates. It tastes excellent and the team is very friendly.
