Stonies Fifties Café - Devonport

Wow!!! This place has just got better since the last time I ate here. The flake and chips was amazing, but that tartare sauce is the best tartare sauce I’ve ever put in my pie hole. Incredibly tangy. Coffee was spot on as well. If you haven’t been in a while, check it out. Good, old fashioned service.

Stonies is awesome! My friend and I would loiter around to use their wifi and have a bite to eat when we were living in Devonport as backpackers. They were always friendly and welcoming despite us spending hours at a time there. They were even nice enough to give us samples of their new recipes to get feedback before putting them on the menu. I'm definitely late to write a review as we were there 2 years ago, but this is one of the local spots that deserves support!

Great place to grab some lunch. Schnitzel was cooked perfectly and has a variety of added herbs to give it that extra kick which made it one of the best I've had. Owner was very helpful to other customers who came in and was incredibly friendly. Big reccomendation!

Fabulous food, fabulous themed, and fabulous staff. Great value for your dollar. Also the coffee pretty great also. Come along and give it a go. Old fashion cafe charms. Many thanks.
