Contribuisci feedbackI came by to celebrate a friend's graduation with lunch at an all-you-can-eat restaurant where we had a few tables reserved. As soon as we sat down, we were served salad and various seasonings, and we started ordering a lot of meat. The overall quality of the meat was quite tasty. However, the reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it became quite stuffy inside; I'm not sure if the vents were working properly, but it got steamy after around thirty minutes of eating. I hope they can address this issue. Aside from that, the food was delicious, with a large variety to choose from, and it’s pretty affordable, especially for bigger groups.
This restaurant feels like home for my wife and me. We've tried many other KBBQ places in the area, but nothing compares to Born. We usually order the all-you-can-eat regular menu, and you can tell that the service is top-notch. The side dishes are fantastic, the staff is friendly, and I really appreciate that the food always tastes fresh. Another bonus is that there's always plenty of parking available—unlike some other places around here that have hectic parking situations. This spot is great; I come here two or three times a month because it's just so delicious!
I'm really sad! The restaurant has permanently closed as of today, according to the sign I saw. I'm going to miss my favorite KBBQ place in the area so much. This is such a huge bummer. To everyone at Born, we love you and you will be greatly missed!
I remember the restaurant when it was called Dongu back in 2000, during my time working for the Japanese Drift organization D1GP. Despite the name change to Born, the excellent service and warmth of a small-town eatery remain unchanged. As you walk through the double-panel doors, you'll be welcomed and seated almost immediately by friendly servers, all of whom are of Korean descent and fluent in English. Knowing a little Korean can enhance your experience here, too. The seating mostly consists of booths that accommodate up to eight people, with around 11 or 12 tables in total. If you're in the area and looking to savor authentic Korean flavors, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I promise you won't regret it! With wonderful food, great company, and refreshing drinks, it’s an unbeatable experience!
We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night and chose to sit outside. It was the first time we had our vaccination cards checked, which was interesting! We had the outdoor area to ourselves, which made for a pleasant experience. The condiments were decent. The meat was top-notch, both fresh and of high quality. The cuts of meat were among the best I've had at any Korean BBQ. They were incredibly fresh, and the marinated meats weren't overly sweet, which I appreciated. We will definitely return! With the outdoor seating and the quality of the food, it’s a place we’ll come back to for sure!
