Having watched Cauchemar dans la Cuisine and Kitchen Nightmares I never thought these places actually existed...until now. We ate here as a group having reserved. We arrived on time and it was an hour and a half before our food arrived. This place is SO SLOW! It was evident that no one was really in charge and when I went to complain and to ask to see the boss it turned out that the boss was not there that evening. This was the evening that France were playing (and won their match in the World Cup, so it was always going to be a busy night...probably the busiest this season, but the boss probably preferred to stay at home and watch the football than run the business. Yes, it was busy. Very busy. But why did they have to take on more guests than they could cope with? The servers were run ragged and it was evident that the kitchen had no idea what was happening. Other people arrived after us and were served before us. And still we waited. No apology. No idea of when we would eat. At 23h our food arrived. To cut a long story short, it was not a success. Wrong plates, mixed up orders. The kitchen had no idea and the servers were not interested. Then it got worse. A cheese sauce had fish in it! Why? My bread had melted plastic on it! Why? I questioned the server and I was told that this was not plastic but fish skin! So that was OK. Really? What is happening to the hygiene in the kitchen that fish is contaminating the cheese sauce and lying around to get stuck to the bread? I really didn't want to see in the kitchen but I am sure that it would not be clean...or organised. To be fair my steak was OK, but this joke had gone on long enough and we lost our appetites. We tried to complain and eventually were given a gesture. Our friends eat here often. 15 times this year as they have a boat on the lake. They tell me it is always slow. Why do people eat here? After this experience they told me it will be the last time they eat here. I will never go again. I hope you will read these words and decide that you too will avoid this badly run restaurant...until maybe...just maybe Philippe Etchebest or Gordon Ramsey come here to work their magic.
Have eaten here a number of times and the patron Aline, is always warm and friendly. Service is exceptional, food always freshly cooked and delicious.
Welcome and perfect service! I took a very good hyberic cake. Sweet cream also very good. The terrace is very pleasant.
Good, fresh, served with a smile, everything for a more than reasonable price. and under a large sun on November 13 with the terrace still in service. Thank you for that moment.
