Contribuisci feedbackwe had a very good fishmeal here. the Canadian chef of cuisine was a whole character and all this added to the attraction of the place. it was an unforgettable visit and after dinner we went the wooden bridge to have a foot. in Switzerland and a foot in Germany.
I discovered this restaurant last summer and it was a good evening meal. the visit this year was also pleasant. the traditional house is literally located at the Swiss German border, at the wooden bridge over the Rhine. the dining room is warm and cozy; many regular guests on. my visit, this is always a good omen. the chef came out regularly to ask the guests satisfaction much appreciated. his wife took care of the service: warm and friendly, although slightly slow sometimes. the menu is Swiss tradition, with focus on local fish and regional products. as a starter I had a homemade fish soup with curry tasteful and delicious. as a main course I chose one of the day's suggestions: zander served with economical. delicious and very generous: the fish was fresh and perfectly baked. I finished my dinner with a refreshing parfait glacé with marie brizard. quality has its price and krone does not make any exception: the bill was CHF88 for dinner. but the fish quality and warm service are worth it.
wonderful restaurant in the possession and guided by a well visited, funny couple that they can cook everything with their daily fresh ingredients, bought by local farmers, and even self-preserved mushrooms, etc. they also cook around their allergies and intolerances! their style is French/Switzerland, and they. find everything from fresh vegetables to local fish, to local meat and cheese.
for many years to live in the vae, is an evening meal at this fantastic place just one has to spend every time in the Swiss holiday. the owners create perfect eating in harmonie with really individual personal care. every time a real light!
The owners of this place are very friendly and helpful, their fish dishes are excellent. Prices are quite high but that's Switzerland. If you can get a table near a window you're guaranteed good views across the Rhine to Germany the restaurant is...right next to the old wooden covered bridge that acts as the border post.
