Akdeniz Restaurant - Dijon

We ate here one night, the weather was warm so we sat outside (only a couple of tables) which was pleasant. Service was friendly. The menu was Turkish/Greek specialities. We ordered hummus to start, which was tasty and came with lovely Turkish bread. For main I had chicken kebab, which came with a small portion of rice and about 5 large chips! My husband had the lamb minced kebab, which came with similar accompaniments. We really could have done with a larger portion of rice/chips and you only had one stick of meat. Mains were about 12 euros from memory. My husband ordered a carafe of red wine, which he said was excellent. Unfortunately there was no white wine on the menu apart from Retsina which was expensive by the bottle. I think we should have chosen a set menu for around 17 euros (again from memory) which seemed better value and included starters, mains, desserts etc. I would eat here again, but just be aware portions aren't huge!

We came to several and we were very undecided in our choices, the boss kept his calm! There was only us and another two table. Little hunger I decided to hang that an entry, I forgot the name but it was great, it's cheese rolls! I loved it! I'll come back with great pleasure

At akdeniz superb atmosphere especially in the evenings where there is the dancer sorayed the guests of the inhabited put the atmosphere the dishes are always well copied prepared by his wife .le boul gour melts in the mouth a regal point negative ! I didn't especially like the street jeanin

For a first Lebanese cooking experience: a real treat!!First we showed up on Saturday evening at about 23h .Although the late hour and the end of service, the boss naturally accepted to serve us and we were able to taste various Lebanese specialties with a menu discovered at 15€ so copied that we did not succeed in finishing. We had such a good night that we didn't see time to pass and that we realized that it was already 1:30 in the morning without that we were rushed to leave. Really a great welcome and a great kitchen. We'll go back with pleasure.
