La Guinguette - Dijon

Small place, very unique, almost in the center, but not in the crowded area. Good food. really very tasty, large portions. doggy bag for unfinished dishes. And it's very comfortable. I didn't have to cook for the next two days.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant during our stay in a small town near dijon. one of the reasons why we chose this restaurant was that it was open late and that there were not many places to restore after 22 hours. We decided to share a dish with sausage, cheese and gratin potatoes. It was really good and it was really enough for both of us. The person who works on it is very nice and seems casual. He also offered us a free digestive! It's a small restaurant, it's for sure. there's a unique atmosphere and it's pretty dark, but the food was excellent. I would recommend this place if you're looking for something a little different and food that comes from the region.

I went there with a friend to have dinner with a bet. I found a good review on wikitravel. We were starved so we ordered a steak to share and 1 gratin each. We left with a lunch box with 1/4 of the gratin each. I do not recommend it as a daily meal but certainly for a party dinner from time to time with friends. the owner/guardian is French and speaks only French and the menu is written by hand in French. the overall experience was very good!

Monday night with limited options, it was recommended to go to the guinguette. really a one man show; Laurent does everything. the steak and the salad we shared were huge portions, there were rests and tasty. really a spot for the premises, ally back to dijon. Laurent does not speak English and the menu is all in French. No chicken or fish thinks it's just beef. carnivores with big appetites go there. 50 euros with a bottle of wine and full on the hills - a good deal. the decor speaks of itself.

I'm a student in the twenties, so I can eat, but I could barely finish half the portion I had. Fortunately, the owner gave a box to take it. Now I'm going to dinner too. salad and digestive offered and even a gifted sucette - what more? (the service will be slow: the owner, cook and waiter are the same person!)
