La Paillote - Dijon

I enjoyed my short stay in Dijon very muche last year and I would like to spend a very positive comment on the chinese restaurant la Paillote. Good food and excellent service.

I have been here 6 times now, I have tried a lot of starters and mains and have enjoyed every one of them, favourites being shrimp fritters, spicy duck on hot plate and frogs legs with garlic. Delicious.

We shared a plate of nems, they were nicely fried, really hot and very tasty with plenty of mint leaves, however there could have been a bit more salad. Then we had 1) the canard laqué with noodles vegetables. Everything was tasty and the portion was not small and 2) the canard à l'ananas frais with cantonese rice. It was the first time we actually got the duck in a half of a fresh pineapple. It was really juicy and fresh. The service was very very friendly.

It is always with great pleasure, with family or love that we come here. The service is always as pleasant, and we eat very well. Thank you for your welcome.

Very good reception, food to fall and very reasonable price! I can only recommend it to you! I'll be right back.
