I went for Foie-Gras instead of noir. with cauliflower and a really fine sauce. my wife went for a bun with little kartoffels. I can tell them sincerely that I was very impressed by the quality of the ingredients and cooking. I am very pleased to give to the chef stare who prepared a really nice dinner. the service of his wife was both very professional and quite relaxed. well done
We ate there in a hurry, as we were on babysit this evening. we had a cure that was immediately served and the service was first class, especially since it was very busy
In the usa I make it a point not to eat in a hotel restaurant, unless the city is under siege, the weather is stormy or there is a reason to believe that the restaurant runs independently and has a trace of distinction. In France, the chances of a decent meal are much higher, especially in independent hotels. to chain hotels, you can hope that the hotel is best, the bigger the eating is, the more likely the eating will be satisfactory. with a friendly host and a limited menu, we have resigned something to our fate. food, prepared enough, nothing to write home, decent food. a pave' by beef was good meat, served with a side of kartoffeln. something for france. frankly, the dessert sabayon was quite good. if the weather would be better, and you could sit on the terrace at the river, you could forgive more. we didn't know the opposite and were tired. a short walk over a narrow bridge near, and there are half dozen other possibilities, independent companies for their trade. leave this place to the kiwanis and rotary.
We ate in the restaurant which is part of the Mercure Hotel while we were staying there. The food was of good quality and well cooked but the menu is limited to around 5 choices with an additional "Dish of the Day". We ate on two occasions but due to the limited choices would not be able to do more as the main menu remains the same.We were lucky that the weather when we were there was beautiful and we were able to eat on the outside terrace on both nights which overlooks the river and the port, all in all a very nice setting. We found all the staff attentive and friendly.

Basic food, adequately prepared, nothing to write home about, decent sustenance. A Pave' of Beef was good quality meat, served with a side of potatoes. Somewhat bland for France. Frankly, the dessert Sabayon was quite good. If the weather were better, and you could sit out on the riverside patio, one might be even more forgiving.Candidly, we didn't know the area and were tired.
