Although it was coming to the end of the lunch service, we were offered...a table and seated. We chose the set menu for the lunch Fresh king prawn avocado salad , Sea bass for the main. We were brought out a curried crab pate appetiser with bread with our wine while we waited for our starter. The starter was delicious and plenty of time was given 10-15 minutes after we had finished our starter before bringing out the mains. Beautiful freshly cooked sea bass fillet served on a bed of mash and vegetables. Finished of with Prune tart x 2 coffees and x 1 Ricardo liqueur. The bill was € 72 euro Bottle of white wine , Appetiser, Starter, main course , desert and a liqueur to polish off. Excellent value for money if like us you miss the boat back and your hungry take a walk to the end of the port and be sure to visit Le Petit Resto du Port.
Delicious food. Lovely friendly staff. The owner gave my older mother and us a lift home when no taxis were available. Melt in your mouth steak. Amazing seafood. Smooth Armagnac. Top wines. Bubbling conversation. What more do you want? Been coming to Dinard for 15...years. No better restaurant. A really special place. You would be crazy to come to Dinard and not try it.
Not my first visit in this restaurant, but my goodness, they took their game seriously! directly from the phone booking, through the cordial greeting of the sheer enthusiasm of the host, we were seduced. a wall of table menus suddenly surrounded us. the wine list, the menus and the à la carte menu, drinks arrived immediately. all at the table (it was 5 of us) found something to their fox meat and fish ice creams alike. my starter was oyster- no.3 cream as usual, with échalotes essig- superb, my main was cabillaud en papillote. To be honest, I don't care what the others had - I was transported!
This is a lovely Bistro style small French restaurant, we had a particularly delicious starter, a little espensive but really worth it.
We had no special plans for dinner that evening and immediately grabbed a free table when we saw the small terrace above the port. Fresh bistro cuisine in a fun atmosphere and very friendly service.
