Went here for an evening meal with partner. The staff were really friendly and polite and the food was amazing. Partner had a pie and it was filled with meat. The curry was also very good. I couldn’t fault the food. They also do local gin. If you like gin try the chocolate orange, very good.
Visited here for Sunday lunch. Rang on the morning and was lucky to get a table at the time we wanted. Not our first visit, but our first Sunday lunch. We were greeted by friendly staff and didn’t wait long to be served for a drink or for our choices to be taken. We opted for the carvery but unfortunately service was extremely long! There was approximately 8 people in front of us who were sat close by. It was probably the best part of 45 minutes before we were able to get our food from the serving area. The serving area is very small hardly any room to move, especially if there’s more than two of you getting food. The food was lovely and tasty delicious. The pub itself is warm and welcoming but could do with a lick of paint and some TLC,
What a little gold mine! I came here with my dog to do 2 specific hikes. I was booked for another camp site but on arrival i wasn't happy and this place came up! It is a pub in a small village but it has a small campsite across the road that you pay the pub £7 to stay in. I loved relaxing in this place. The staff were above and beyond friendly to me and my dog also. I'm deaf and i am always worried about fitting in or not being sure of things but the staff made me feel very welcome and like i was part of the furniture. The couple who own it are very friendly and asked how my day had been and gave my dog a lovely bout of attention too. It's serves food and the bar is open but only until 10pm. It's very close to the four falls trail and only 30 minutes to pen-y-fan. I would highly recommend staying here to camp and come in after a hard day to relax with a few beers or a meal if you wish. The garden is super cute too. 5 stars from me! It isn't the Ritz but i didn't want that anyway... I wanted somewhere to stay and somewhere for a beer after and i even had the privilege of chatting with some of the locals who were also friendly to me. Maybe one day I will come back to attempt another hike ... If i do ... It'll be here! No doubt
Attended the quiz. Absolutley lovley welcome by the staff. One lady made us feel so very welcome! What a lovley place! Will definatley be going back there. Had some lovley deserts and snacks too.
