Stopped here on a road trip from DC to North Carolina, and didn't realize we had ended up at the slowest Wendy's in America. It took 15 minutes to take our order, they were sold out of the salad my fiance wanted, and then when we finally got our food, thesandwiches were cold and the fries were bland. The lady who ordered before us got her order wrong because the cashier wasn'tpaying enough attention I heard her order, and when she came back to complain, I remembered what she asked for, so she wasn'tjust making stuff up. There weren't any condiments in the seating area, so I had to go to the counter and wait another 5 minutesto ask for ketchup packets. Horrible, horrible Wendy's.
We orderd 2 frosties, that was it. Waited almost 20 minutes before I had to go back up to the counter and get the manager to make them for me. The place was not super busy at the time either... Overheard the couple in front of me, their entire order waswrong and they had to wait about 10 min in between receiving each individual item.... I am pretty sure the person on theregister was new, and she was receiving no help from anyone else behind the counter. Will not be coming here again.
Today was my last day eating at this place I sat in the drive thru line for 27 minutes with one vehicle in front of me. The staff wasn't working just standing around and laughing and just going back and forth to their vehicles and the sad part is themanager was letting it happen. I ordered a 5 dollar biggie bag with a diet coke regular nuggets and double stack. I pulled upand received my meal and left. The staff had given me root beer a chicken sandwich spicy nuggets and French fries. Work placerestaurants need to have a policy in place so that their employees stay off their if not on break or a family emergency becausethis work ethic they have is ridiculous.
I 've stopped here many times, and it 's generally in the 3 4 star, not great, but convenient and good enough category. Today was ridiculous though. I waited five minutes for my order to be taken at the drive thru, I had to repeat each part of my ordertwo to three times, and then waited TWENTY MINUTES for our food. When they finally brought it out, all four meals were crammedinto a single bag, the cheeseburger from the kids meal was missing, and both my children melted down as we were driving awaythat there was no toy activity kids bag even. I 've put up with a steady decrease in customer service at this location over thepast six months but this took the cake. :
