Sushi-man - District of North Vancouver

Came here late on Oct 3, 2017. With so many sushi choices, I picked this one for its proximity to where I’m staying. Restaurant wasn’t too busy (takeout was pretty busy! and I was seated promptly. The restaurant is Chinese run (if that’s important to you . <br/ <br/ Ordered chicken udon, salmon sashimi, toro and salmon sashimi, and spicy sushi combo. Food came quickly and I was impressed with the portion size. Sashimi was good, salmon was very soft and yummy. Toro wasn’t toro; it was tuna. You can see in the photo that it isn’t toro. It was still pretty good. Spicy combo had a nice spice but the scallop roll fell apart when I picked it up. No side plates were provided so it was a bit hard to manage. Udon was good, noodles had good chew and I loved the veggies in it. <br/ <br/ Total bill including tax was $37. Standard for the Vancouver area. I’d definitely go again and I’d be interested to compare it to the other sushi place just up the road.

Cheap, fast and good. My go-to place for a quick lunch.. Servers are extremely efficient and the food comes out super fast. You get good sized portions and the food has always been great for the price. No complaints. Saw some bad reviews because they said the servers lacked 'warmth ', meh. I don 't think that 's necessarily a bad thing. Come here for good fast cheap sushi, not scintillating conversation.

You must try and for sure the best somon sashimi in town. Dont try tuna is the worst.I like it
