Bodega Melipal

The wineyard tour and wine are very good. So is their staff and lunch with wine tasting. Melipal's tour, as most of wineyards in Mendoza, should make private and intimate tours and lunchs. We had the tour with another couple, but during the visit our guide had to be replaced by another one due to a problem with a brazilian group of 18 people who claimed to have a reservation but actually didn't have, since small wineyards don't do big groups tours. After we ended the tour our lunch became a hell since the manager decided yo allow the group to have lunch in the wineyard. It looked like we're in a pub during a soccer match. We felt disrespected and the experience, that should be sublime, was really awfull.

We had lunch at Melipal and the food was very good. The setting is excellent and the service was very good too. The price tag is high and at the time we asked for the check, we were given a ticket (not valid for tax identification purposes). We asked for the valid ticket and it was not a happy question apparently because all the smiles given until then, were gone. Unfortanelty this is a common practice in Argentina, but if they are going to give in general in any place a non valid ticket, you should not be paying the 21% tax part of it.Other than this issue, the rest was perfect!

A new modern building set in beautiful vineyard .we. Had a a 5 course meal with 5 wines to match, which was perfect.

Overlooking the vineyards we enjoyed exquisite wines with delicious courses presented beautifully. We will be back!

We had our best visit and meal here. 30 km from Mendoza in a very pleasant location. Try to reserve your table at their balcony.
