Contribuisci feedbackOn 10/9 sung in this restaurant to celebrate the birthday of my partner. we paid 100/person for 3 courses. each of their meals was delicious. I can't say the same for mine. the tagliatelle was 2 min shy of al dente and there was no flavor at all in the pasta sauce. my hen was cold, dry and tasteless. the pure under and the mushrooms were extremely cold. when I sent this back and got a medium-sized, rare steak, it came out, hurried, carved and made medium-heavy. I couldn't eat it and wouldn't serve my dog. my panna cotta was eclectic and indelible. my server only offered to load me for 2 courses instead of 3 which is a shame. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Some nice dishes and a great ambiente. they seemed a little desperate for patronage, although after 2 sms and 3 emails to confirm the booking. they also take care of their accounting provider who does not honour the Australian anti-space laws. recommend the phone instead of berk.
We ate lunch and we were a party of 2 adults and 2 children.The person serving us was extremely rude and without really knowing why, I don’t want to speculate. But, I have a fair idea of why.To be specific and focusing on his actions, rather than the reasons he was very gracious and chatty to all the tables around us but his attitude to our table was that of extreme rudeness. He didn’t explain the dishes to us, provided no suggestions on pairing, never asked to top up water or wine, literally “threw” the plates on our table and walked away without as much as an acknowledgement or asking for feedback on the meals. I saw that he didn’t exhibit that behaviour to any tables around us.But, one point for the owner reservations team to note is that when a table is given with kids, it doesn’t need to be the worst table in the restaurant, right next to the washroom when the restaurant is largely empty.I am happy to give further specifics to the owner if they want to contact me.We left leaving most of our mains and sides uneaten and cancelled our dessert cheese order.On paying the bill, I gave the feedback and articulated the reasons why I thought the person was rude. The lady helping me settle the bill was extremely gracious and understanding. She offered to take some amount off the bill and I refused as the effect of the feedback is typically taken away if it seems one is giving it to save some money. On very strong insistence, she offered me a bottle of wine as a sign of apology which I appreciated but didn’t expect. But, at least she tried to make a bad situation good.
