Contribuisci feedbackOn Sunday night 23/11, after a cozy weekend at a chalet with colleagues, we decided to have a farewell dinner at L'Azimut restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by hostess Nathalie, who impressed us with her fluent Dutch. The diverse menu options were very tempting. The dishes prepared by Nathalie's husband, Chef Olivier, were a pleasant surprise, with high-quality ingredients and delicious flavor combinations that you would expect from a one or two-star restaurant. The atmosphere was enhanced by the professionalism and charm of hostess Nathalie. The wines served perfectly complemented the flavors of the dishes. The biggest surprise came when we received the bill: $600 per person. Even for a Dutch person...
I put 4 stars because I would have put 5 to my first visit a year ago and 3 to my second visit. A tip if you go: let yourself be guided in the choices and do not take on the map, you might be very disappointed. A menu with wine is for me the best choice. The products of the region are very well worked. The welcome of the boss makes her comfortable. It makes me almost think of a bed and breakfast (peu de monde) but by staying a gourmet restaurant. However, do not count on a small free coffee at the end of the meal even if your note is 120€ for 2, their goal is not to trade but to make you discover their cuisine. I find that the value/price ratio can be quite variable from one dish to another. NB: men must wash their hands in the women's toilet (2x)
If you want to experience fresh, flavorful dishes that seem to have been transported straight from the sea to your plate, look no further than L'Azimut. This restaurant offers a refined cuisine that is sure to delight your taste buds, with dishes like sea bass, crab, and squid on the menu. The cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, and impressive wine selection make this a must-visit spot in the Ardennes forest. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!
While the exterior may not be impressive, the interior of the restaurant is superb, especially the terrace. The menus are filled with delicious options. The kitchen is run by the owner and his wife, who are always smiling. This restaurant is a hidden gem in a peaceful location.
Sunday night 23/11: After a cozy weekend chalet with colleagues, we decided to celebrate a good-bye dinner. landed at the restaurant i'azimut. Very charmingly charmed by hostesses' wethaly, who has been very difficult to put us in her best nerdia. The statement of the diverse menu opportunities was clearly tempting! What then came from the kitchen of the man of wethalie's husband's man oil on our table was a surprise. The most important thing was to provide high quality, we were affected by a approved approval of taste composites. This level of dignity would be expected at a star restaurant or two. The ambiance was entertained by the intake professionality and charm of hostesses wethalie. The served wines. Made a perfect connection to the wealthy taste of dishes. The ultimate surprise was the account, $6,000 a person, even for an ollander.
