On January 7th, 2022, my group of six went to Almina in Docklands looking forward to a lovely Lebanese dinner. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience. Only one waiter was friendly towards us, and the rest of the staff seemed disinterested. Our meals were brought out haphazardly, with some dishes arriving while we were still eating our starters. When I mentioned this to a waiter, he showed no concern and walked away. The food itself was below par, with the chicken breast on rice being particularly bland and unappetizing. The service at the restaurant was rude and unprofessional, with the staff showing little regard for our experience. We left feeling disappointed and will not be returning, nor would we recommend this restaurant to others.
A friend brought me to almina while I was in melbourne. the staff was super friendly and helpful. I went with my friends and suggested what to everyone. we started with grilled halloumi, that was delicious. we had to wait for one to receive our nets. we had shisha and I loved the atmosphere and the music. I could have been sitting there all night. I wouldn't go back in a hurry for eating, it was nice, but a little rich for me. next time I would only have some appetizers and shares instead of a main (I am not a big eater, so would rather choose, then a huge meal) but would definitely be back and forth for the great mood and atmosphere.
A lamb and chicken mix grill with salad and chips ordered and it was the worst food we have ever ordered. no taste only salty. to add it, missed the delivery the lamb and chicken mix grill with rice. we had to wait an hour to return the order.
My partner and I were both very happy with our food and he said it was on of the best places he’s eaten in Australia so far (he’s been here for 9 months)
