Rocco's - Doncaster

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch. The menu had a great selection of delicious dishes. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and couldn't find any faults. The service was excellent, with friendly and well-presented staff. Overall, it was a superb dining experience.

Awful experience. The steak was completely burnt and the prawns were overcooked. My partner's dish was also very poor quality and seemed off. The service was bad and it's clear that the management is lacking, especially with their defensive responses to negative reviews. The food clearly comes from the freezer and they need to simplify their extensive menu and focus on quality. It's disappointing because this place used to be decent. I'll give it two stars just for the decent drinks.

Delicious food, attentive service and a good atmosphere. We came with our 7 year old who loved the pasta options. Will definitely come again.

We were sat for half an hour before we were even offered to order a drink. At the same time we ordered starters and mains, starters arrived within 10 minutes (no complaints). Our main then took an hour after this. One main arrived half finished. I sent the food back and my partner had finished his main by the time my food had even arrived. we paid and left before i had chance to see my course return.

We visited here on a ‘pub crawl’ around Tickhill. The food looked fantastic but unfortunately we were only there for a drink. The bottle of red wine we had was excellent. The weather was great and we had a very pleasant drink out in the courtyard/beer garden. I will return for a meal very soon
