Was really looking forward to my first visit here. Compact space, seats unfortunately not very comfortable and you don’t feel like you can relax and linger for long... Coffee delicious, small menu and not much choice for me being a vegetarian... I had the beans,...very tasty although basic and too expensive in my opinion for what it was... on only piece of sourdough... My companion had the breakfast crumble which was in fact stewed fruit with (too many) seeds on top, just seeds, not a crumble... It was cold in the cafe and not as clean as would have liked.
I had heard good things about Little Fox, so I decided to give it a try. It is a small, charming restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and staff. I wasn't expecting to find anything I liked, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Roast Potato Hash, which was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. My partner had the Flatbread Mezze and also enjoyed it. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey, but it wouldn't deter me from returning. I would definitely recommend a visit to Little Fox.
The restaurant offers great value for the superb quality of locally produced, fresh organic food. The dishes were presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely and cosy. A big thank you to Niamh and all of her staff - we will definitely be returning!
This was a surprise, modest surroundings but lovely atmosphere. There wasn’t a big menu, however the food was delicious. We had lamb tagine which was wonderful. Wine was also good.
