Pier One - Donegal

The food and service were excellent. The staff went above and beyond for us. It was a satisfying meal. However, the restaurant itself is in desperate need of a renovation. The entrance we walked through was dirty and neglected. When we were seated upstairs in our reserved area, the view of the river was nice but the decor was old-fashioned and dull. Additionally, the view was marred by dirty windows. The restaurant was quite empty, which was unfortunate because the food and service were top-notch. The management should consider a thorough cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.

Great place to have a couple of pints and listen to some Irish trad music. Great bartenders as well!

We were thinking of spending a Resto evening with ambient music as announced on the sidewalk by their advertising sign (every evening at 8:30 p.m. but once we sat down and saw the time, we learned that there was no music this evening. Disappointment. The meal is good and well served, but nothing more, the kitchen and the room darken, a sign that you have to leave...

Very good food, had the Turkey+ Ham from the days special card. Great service, amazing view on the harbour. High recommendation, would come again and eat exactly the same :
