Old school hotel from 1990s. If u wish to travel back in time to experience vn in the era of doi muoi, stay here. Dated decor, staff sitting around, fading paint, worn carpets, disposable sachets of shampoo. cheap and retro.

Stay here as couple on 14/02/2020 during a bike tour. there is a spacious standard double room for 350,000 (including breakfast). the room had a refrigerator, but no water cooker. they had no standard double available, but they also have superior twins / double for 460.000. the breakfast starts at 6:00 a.m. and was ok, but not great. we arrived at 6 o'clock and the breakfast was ready, but the coffee and tee were cold at this time. there was a lot of space in the back of the hotel to hang/dry our laundry. we recommend this hotel. we have 2 more hotels in the city before choosing this hotel (including tams guest house listed on booking and agoda) and found this one better worth it.

Nice hotel. good experience. clean rooms. quiet and efficient housekeeping. the food is somewhat limited, but available with a smile. good coffee shop in the hotel. beyond the hotel is anothe beautiful coffee shop and down the road to the right, about 100 meters away beautiful roasted and gay, good to take along. invites you to shop outside, water etc.

An old style government run hotel that shows its age. Room wasn't too bad, very spacious and clean and with all facilities but the electric lights didn't all work and the wiring was scary, probably dangerous! A bit overpriced at 400k but that includes a breakfast that I didn't try so can't comment on.
