Eastern Palace Chinese - Doonside

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. One staff member was especially attentive, and our food arrived quickly. I took advantage of a $12 special, which included green Chinese tea and delicious fried ice cream at a very reasonable price. The food was fresh and served promptly. Everything was incredibly tasty, and I look forward to returning for another visit.

The service was okay and the food was decent. I really enjoyed the lemon sauce, even though it had more sugar than lemon juice in it. As a Cantonese myself, I found the dry-fried rice noodles with beef lacked the proper "wok hei" because they weren’t fried in a hot enough wok. I suppose it caters more to a Western palate, so I can’t expect too much. However, I wasn’t pleased to pay $3.70 for a can of soda. Other than that, everything was fine.

One of the best Chinese meals you ever enjoy. Service is fantastic, very reasonable prices. eat in or take away. If you're in the area, go out of your way enjoy.
