Het Bolwerck Dordrecht

The location and food is super nice, but unfortunately, the service is below the norm. We came in, ordered some drinks and fries and for some reason our fries never made it to our table but was left at the waiter desk and a few of the fries were eaten by the waiter himself. We asked for another portion, which was thankfully brought to us. After some time we ordered iced coffee to which the waitress said that she has to check, then she said it’s coming. After 10 mins of waiting she comes apologizing saying that it is not possible anymore. When we asked for a bill, the bill still included the iced coffee that we never received.

Nice new terrace with great view, not to big inside but cosy and nice quality food. Fresh fries and croque chevre are recommended!

VERY slow. They dont accept VISA credit card or mastercard. and they dont speak english.

Good menu and staff, very nice alongside the water.

A nice view and friendly people. The toilets are very clean
