Dorset Bakery

I enjoyed a fantastic lunch featuring a BLT sandwich and an éclair for dessert. A delicious éclair is my benchmark for deciding whether I’ll revisit a bakery, and this one certainly met my expectations. It was fresh and had a delightful creamy filling, unlike some that taste artificial. Plus, there’s outdoor seating available when the weather is nice.

Nice decor. Kinda cute place. Very good menu incorporating veggie things. Good coffee We order our own food at counter (which is fine) and collected our coffees. However, waitress prompted me to choose tip options while paying. I wasn?t sure what I was tipping for as I did all the work. Just for someone to bring my plate? I still paid tip as it is a bit odd, I guess I could have taken option of no tip. But this seems like putting people on spot for no reason or actual work. No one offered any water or anything-it?s mostly self service

Charming European bakery! We tried the lemon cake and it was delicious. There are so many appealing items on the menu. We’ll definitely be returning!

Beautiful outdoor seating and a beautiful day. The food was very good. I had the avocado toast without egg and mozzarella to make it plant based. It came with cut tomatoes and domestic frits. The reason for the 3 stars is that the oat milk latte was terrible. Watery, almost no oat milk at all. Maybe a new barista without experience? I had a good latte in the past.

We went there twice for breakfast during our stay in Manchester. There were 6 of us, two of who are kids. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant accommodating. The sandwiches, egg dishes of course the baked goods were outstanding. Next time in the area we will visit here again. I highly recommend.
