Delicious cicchetti and excellent wine, honest prices, highly recommended

This place was so nice, I went twice! It was on my to eat at list because it was near my hotel and had high reviews about the cicchetti. Here you truly do the Italian way stand and eat while chatting with friends. I found this place by accident the first night I was meandering around Venice, and since I knew it was on my list, I decided to pop in. I love that they do not use plastic bottles, but rewash and recycle glass ones. They have a great selection of cicchetti that rotates out, so you know it is fresh, and there are daily specials as well. I have never in my life had such delicious radicchio and caramelized onions! A few days later, a friend of mine happened to be in town, so I suggested we meet here. I ordered a smattering of vegetarian options, and made sure to order the radicchio as well as the onion rose, and also opted to try the asparagus flan. That asparagus flan....omg. I could not believe how delicious it was and my friend agreed! We saved the onion roses for last. I recommend this place if you don 't mind standing to eat and you want fresh, delicious ingredients! Excellent place for a quick lunch in Venice. Many small tastings of foods, both special and otherwise, which allow you to taste all the delicacies of Venice. The guys are very approachable, very available for any advice (embarrassed for choice when faced with all those things). Also possible to choose a first course of the day in a medium or large portion. Really well organised, moderate prices.
