The setting is worthy of a star It’s very beautiful and the staff takes great care and has the gestures of a great restaurant. But when there is a setting of this type and the prices are quite high, it is normal to expect perfect cuisine and strong details. Unfortunately this is not there: A simple steak, just served with new potatoes without any specific work, without a sauce or presentation effort is very limited in France for this price we have a mature meat with sauce, potato with a second accompaniment. The starter doesn't even have an espuma, or a foam work... it was bland Water served in a carafe which was full of limescale In short, lots of very limited detail. which when paying the bill gives a feeling of trap or of paying just a frame.

We had a lush dining experience at Vero Venetian Roots I booked here for its proximity to a concert we attended but it happened to be perfectly out of the way from the Venice masses. It’s probably more pricey than I usually go for however the food was lovely, mind you I had food envy of my friends beef with cherries, divine! The little extras (amuse bouche, carnival themed petit fours) were special and the hospitality was impeccable. Authentic friendly welcome in a chilled out atmosphere. Highly recommended!
