This restaurant is sent in caves, so makes for an interesting and cool / pleasant evening. it is specialized in the food of the region. our menus consisted of 4/5 small curses (as appetizers), the brot shaped with owal came the idea that they slit the brotrolle in the half and fill it with the various items (e.g. mushroom pate, pork) so there is a lot of brot. when I was with a group it was a pleasant evening, but not the most inspiring meals! I was rather fed with the brot and the same format.
This was a unique experience. The Trogladyte cave was amazing and where the restaurant is located is like a cathedral. The authentic French food was wonderful. The appear tiff of rose champagne was wonderful. A bit pricey for what it was but certainly a high...light to our trip.
Like the near zoo, the site takes place in a former quarry. The restaurant rooms are huge with a very high ceiling (that's why they call it a cathedral). The atmosphere is rather wet, but the site really is not ordinary and pretty entertaining. Food...is alright but nothing tremendous. Even if the place is huge, tables are packed in there, which makes it look more like a canteen rather than a proper restaurant...
