Emerald Springs Roadhouse

I had a delicious bacon and egg sandwich and coffee on the way to Katherine. It was the highlight of my day. The restaurant had a fantastic outdoor dining area and the sandwich was incredibly tasty. The only thing missing was Paul's iced coffee.

At this place early in the morning for morning on aat kings day trip to katherine, eating and atmosher was great, much more space inside than she would call from outside on the way back to darwin for dinner, very...impressed, sitting on outside veranda was very pleasant

Unfortunately we can only give our experience 3stars and these stars are for the 3 employees for their friendly efficient service. I fear our meals were very common, the burgers were almost unusable and the ribs were the same. only that after a big day on the road were really hungry, none of us would have eaten our meals. such a scandal. great environment, but not the best food experience.

From the street this looked like its average dingy road house hotel. could not have been wrong. spotless bar area, including fresh paint application. super friendly staff, clean toilets and the best hot chocolate I had for a long time.

Random stop on the drive from Katherine to Darwin, went in to buy some coffee and ice cream, but then we discovered the open deck in the back of the building with ping pong, darts and pool table. Ended up spending a pleasant 30-45 minutes...there.
