A few weeks ago, a young boy named 'Paddy' was on the bar. He was welcoming, asking how our day went, service with a smile. We wanted to go to an Irish bar. When it came to final orders, he came to every table to let them know that it was at the time, but there is no rush to drink, as they had some bits to do so that we could take our time. It was absolutely brilliant and made us so welcome. It was one of the best nights I and my friends had in so long time. The second time we went, the person responsible was a girl (I didn't even ask her name) who, instead of talking to us or interacting with us, simply remained at the other end of the bar that talked to her friends or disappeared downstairs while the other staff ALL did the job. We asked a young lady where the boy was 'Paddy', but it was his evening free. I can't tell you how chalk and cheese were these two people. It hit 12 a.m. and the music was out, tv was out... it felt cold and terrible. Not like I'm gonna introduce an Irish pub. We felt hurry to finish our drinks and go. I'd come back 100%, but only if Paddy's in the bar.
Great location, cheapest beer in town, super sports to watch, very friendly staff
Cosy place after shopping. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about beer. Place style comfortable old farmer in the Highlands Vibe. Love it
Nice to visit my old haunts even though they've changed the name was called Leg's Of Man
Watch out for the Collie entertaining itself with a ball and passers by. Clever dog :
