Burke's Grill - Douglasville

This was my first visit to Burkes, and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and fantastic home-cooked food. Burkes definitely exceeded my expectations! At first glance, you might see a sign in a plaza from the street and wonder if you're in the right place, but trust me—you are! The food is incredible, and the staff is great—professional and attentive. I think it's family-owned, but I'm not completely sure. I dined there three times before writing this review, and I will certainly be returning again!

Now, let's talk about the food—oh my gosh, it was delicious and reasonably priced! The waffles and French toast were fantastic, but I have to say the grits were exceptionally creamy and simply perfect. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for your kindness today. It’s hard to come by such warmth and hospitality in restaurants nowadays!

I’ve been on a lucky streak discovering amazing dining spots! This restaurant was outstanding. The food was creative, featuring clever combinations as well as some delightful original dishes. Our server, a young man, was courteous and efficient, attending to our needs promptly. He also shared some great insights about the menu items, which were delicious. I can’t wait for our next visit!

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the blackened fish and grits, and the grilled vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked, not soggy at all. My sister had the deluxe burger with onion rings, while my brother enjoyed the shrimp dinner. We had no complaints about any of our meals! This place is a must-try!
