Contribuisci feedbackSad. $16 for this lunch. Drowned in salty soy sauce, definitely didn?t taste like teriyaki. The chicken was over cooked and not seasoned at all. The vegetables and rice tasted cold as if it was out on a buffet line, very stale dry taste. Also, the customerservice was unpleasant. Apparently a younger guy is taking orders yet when I walked in, he was on his phone and never greeted menor offered a menu. I had to get his attention 3 times to find a menu and place my order. DO NOT spend your hard earned moneyhere.
The staff is friendly they remember your name and family. They are always happy to see you or hear your voice over the phone. The sushi is one of my favorite menu items. The shrimp Yokisoba is the best!!!! You can order it spicy or regular. This is my goto place always. I love it!!
The dining room was closed, and only takeout was available. The portions provided were small and not worth the cost. For what you pay here, you could visit a proper hibachi restaurant and enjoy double the portions for the same price. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time at Sakura; there are other hibachi options nearby that offer a much better experience.
I ordered a $14 roll, which turned out to be a joke. I thought I had gotten the Dynamite roll, but it was mostly just rice, with a few tiny pieces of fish and a lot of crunchy bits—no other ingredients at all. It was dry and not appetizing. I ended up throwing half of it away. The calamari I ordered wasn't real; it was rubbery, perfect circles, which everyone knows isn't true calamari. I'm grateful that Grubhub provided a partial refund, but overall, this was a big disappointment.
The drinks were good, but the portions of hibachi rice were quite small, while everything else was satisfactory. The service could use some improvement; our server forgot to ask the kids if they wanted drinks and assumed everyone wanted ginger dressing. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience.
