We stopped in here during our outing for a Coke and a sandwich. The service was very friendly and they even interacted with our baby.
Immediately across from the train station...yes, the place is gritty...in a most wonderful way. I would put it in a “must do” list. This is very much a local folks spot...and the people are real....When we walked in...it was like one of those scenes from the movies...all eyes on us! That said, we showed up with two young children and they treated us with warmth and great hospitality. The bartender, the cook and the locals took time to really welcome us! We ordered food which was actually quite fine...the point is...if you want an antiseptic environment....stay home. If you want real people and a real experience...stop in, have a drink and experience real traveling hospitality!
Really good food friendly staff good music at the weekends and Tracey does the best coffees going and always does table serving with a smile
Fantastic service and food. Staff is personable and friendly. Very easily accessible next to Dover Priory Station and very nice location.
