Sammy Sue's Bbq - Dover

I had the 1/2 salad with pulled pork. Delicious and simply the right part for someone who can't eat much at a session. My daughter has the ribs and sweet potatoes. Ribs were tender and sweet potato fries so good. That was 5:30 on Thursday. Just about 5 minutes waiting time for 2 people.

Wow, what a nice surprise! It was my first time here. After I heard about this place for a while, I could stop. I tried the sampler and I loved the ribs and Coleslaw?

I really enjoyed my meal here. The staff was very friendly and service was great. My whole meal was great. Looks like a beautiful place for families. My only Con was the rest room. The first thing I did when I left was washing my hands and I was pretty disgusting. The food could? ve was great, but if the toilet was bad and the customers can see it, how does the kitchen look? The one place where we should feel comfortable was NOT seeing CAN. After I washed my hands, I was basically turned off. Thank you for a great service, but I really enjoyed my night there.

I've always heard this place was good, but never had the chance to stop until today. You didn't disappoint. Delicious BBQ. Smoky.. Amazing house grilled smoked taste.. It was great. Thank you.

This is the best BBQ in Ohio! It is that good! The BBQ pork is amazing, all the side dishes are great, and all the sides are homemade which is unheard of! There is probably not another restaurant in Ohio that makes everything from scratch like they do here! I live in the Akron area but will take the weekly 40-minute drive to eat here; it is simply that good. The restaurant also has the rare authentic old BBQ feel to the inside. A HUGE contrast to the BBQ chains that when you go inside, it feels like you walked into McDonalds and infest the Akron area.
