The waitress seemed overwhelmed and did not even acknowledge us. There were 3 bartenders standing behind the bar who looked at us but did not come over to serve us, instead they just talked among themselves. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. We are not sure if we will return to this restaurant.
I arrived at the restaurant at 1 o'clock and was completely ignored for 20 minutes, even though I was sitting at the bar. The female bartender was rude and disregarded me entirely. Feeling unwelcome, I decided to leave and go home. It seems that this bartender has a preference for serving men over single women who come in to order food and drinks. I will not be returning to this restaurant in Twin Lakes.
I happened to be nearby and decided to stop for lunch. The reviews were promising, so I decided to give it a try. This hidden gem exceeded my expectations! I tried the mushroom and Swiss burger and it was so delicious that I ended up ordering another one. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. I will definitely be visiting this place more often!
Eating was very good when it came, but it didn't seem so busy, but maybe our waitress was new to wait? I have not brought the salat until I have asked for it and did not want to bring the dessert and did not know the dessert elections and we have never received the maisbrot that came with the meal. but again eating was very good, and it is also bare so, my opinion only, they seemed more interested in serving people in the bar than those who came to eat.
Nice atmosphere. Good beer selection. Food was good, but needed a little better service.
