El Taco - Downey

This has been one of favorites since I first discovered it in 1980. Quesadilla with red sauce is the best. Also a fan of the she shell tacos. Simple date, reasonably priced, very casual. Yum.

All time favorite place to eat.. Chicken flautas and a red quesadilla would be my last meal if I could pick it!! I've been going here for 25 plus years regularly and have never has a bad meal.. The fries are bomb and I highly recommend the bun taco.(aka sloppy jose) There are other El Taco locations but don't bother because the consistency of the Firestone location is 2nd to none. El Taco I love you!!!!

Every time I come back to LA, it's like a sacred ritual to come and eat here. The food is excellent, the prices are great, and you just can't go wrong with their quesadilla with red sauce. They also use real cheese, not that fake stuff like you'd find at other fast food Mexican places.

This is one of my favorite fast food mexican joints. When you want a great burrito or nachos hit up El Taco. They have a wide variety on the menu and a drive through if you are in a hurry.

It 's been a family tradition for YEARS! Every time we are in the area we stop here for a delicious mexican meal. If you are a fan of melty cheesy goodness, do NOT miss the 'Red Quesadilla ' which is actually more of a cheesy burrito (just lots of perfectly melted cheese and red sauce, and a flour tortilla). Egg and potato burritos are tasty, our son LOVES the taquitos, tacos are delicious, basically, you can 't go wrong! There are two locations I am aware of and both are equally delicious.
