Panera Bread - Downey

Today I decided to go alone and order one for my first time. I was lost. I didn't know how to order. daniel helped me. I bought the unlimited sip and he explained how it works. I made sure the people went after me first because I knew I had to ask a few and didn't want to keep the line. he quickly saw my number up and took my order. he also explained the shells/shots. I made my choice and had one more pleasant experience. it didn't feel like I was talking to someone who was just working there. the fact that he really helped me is the reason why I go back from now on. I was intimidated by the order, but this guy made the difference. I also enjoyed eating. on a page note. I have read the negative reviews. please be patient and understand. when I waited for my food, I got a look at the rest of the staff. they look very busy. we just have to be friendly. You never know what a day they have. be a nice human combat veteran suffering from ptsd

I met a good friend of mine for breakfast this morning. He suggested Panera. I was not impressed with the focaccia, folded (scrambled) eggs, microwaved sausage patty, and some unmelted cheese sandwich that I ordered. I'll have to go back and try something else and hopefully will write a better review. Sorry no photos.

This has been the third or fourth time that they kept adding chicken into my sandwich when I specified that I did not want chicken and that I could not eat chicken due to allergies. Added it in anyways even though the order receipt clearly indicated No pulled chicken Called in and then even drove back to replace it, no apology, no acknowledgment of the mistake. They just took forever to make the sandwich again and then that was it. If you are going to be overpricing the food, then you might as well provide good customer service. If not, then will just take my business elsewhere.

Each time I come here,I get the pick two salad/sandwich or salad/soup but always have to have a salad

Besides the very attractive eye candy I really, didn't care for the place it was packed withe customers so someone obviously likes the place..it was during lunch time so service was slow. I ate Avery simple meal yet it took over 30 min to get served. I will never go back at busy time. Centrally located lots of parking. Upscale middle class community.
