Downingtown Diner

Always incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic! The service is super fast! Despite facing staff shortages due to COVID, they manage to keep everything running smoothly. I always feel welcome and appreciated here. The place is really clean as well. Plus, this is the famous Blob Diner!

Very good food, (I had the framed chipped beef over toast or cookies, coffee and large grapefruit juice) beautiful diner feeling and atmosphere...known, quintessential, stainless steel sides 50's area diner. It was the diner shown in the horror film The Blob... The 4 stars are just the small parking lot and not the diner or his food...specific.

Simple diner food but very good. The chicken salad was excellent, grandchildren had grilled cheese and hot dog and both very good and fill. Our waiter even made a card trick for the kids to add the fun time.

Great food. Soups from scratches. Friendly service. *Update: Returned and had a great breakfast. Traditional diner, small but with a casual diner atmosphere. Breakfast was served quickly, the coffee was always full and everything was delicious. This place is great for a traditional Northeast Diner.

The food is outstanding and the servers are very friendly. Additionally, it's a famous spot in the history of classic horror films! (Watch out for The Blob!)
