Charisse Kc - Downtown Kansas City

Food is great but they randomly close without notice during the daytime hours (11am 2pm) for walk ins so make sure you call ahead before coming. I arrived an hour after opening and was rudely turned away. The staff is not friendly. I have visited a few times and none of those times did I receive friendly service from the host nor the server.

Excellent downtown place, the steak was very well executed and the cheese gnocchi outstanding.

If I lived closer, this would be one of my go-to joints. The place is just exceptional. Drinks. Food. Service.
