The staff was, to put it politely, a bit odd. It took a considerable time to be seated, even though there were three employees visible and only two other groups of two waiting for a table. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The waiter didn’t seem familiar with the menu, which may have been due to him being new and youthful, so it didn’t really bother me. My friend requested to add mushrooms to her duck, and the cook came out to confirm that this was possible. However, once our food finally arrived—about ten minutes after it had been placed on the table—the cook returned but appeared agitated. He didn’t say a word, just took the sauce from our table and left. I’m not sure why he acted that way, as we had been polite and friendly throughout our visit. On my previous visit, we waited about 45 minutes for our food. Until the restaurant improves its service, I don't plan on returning. There are plenty of other dining options in Doylestown.
Every time I visit Paganini, I enjoy an outstanding meal. While I have my usual favorites, I also love trying dishes that feature seasonal ingredients. Your homemade pasta and wood-fired pizzas are absolutely delicious!
My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing, delicious meal last night from Paganini. The weather was perfect for sitting outside as sitting in the garden. All employees were pleasant and efficient. We never felt hurried about what I guess. The pasta dishes we ordered were made with homemade pasta and sauces that were delicious. I'm also a big fan of her Arugula salad. Great place to eat.
I wish I would 've read the reviews BEFORE I went here! This was hands down one of the worst dining experience of my life! I was slightly suspicious when my husband and I went to eat here on a very busy Friday night at 5:30 and walked right in. There wasn 't a single soul in the place, while there were lines out the door at every other restaurant we saw on State Street (there are MANY). We were halfheartedly greeted by an older woman, who handed us off to an oblivious kid. We were seated at an outside table with a glass of water. No one came near us for quite a while. When another person finally came, we ordered 2 cranberry club sodas and it took a while to get those. We asked for some bread or something and nothing ever came. I went back in to talk to someone about it and they all looked annoyed. Finally someone else brought 2 very small rolls with nothing else. No butter or seasoned olive oil (they claim to be an Italian restaurant). I had to go in once again to request this. Took forever again. We ordered our meal from yet another uninterested/oblivious person and it took nearly a solid hour for just pasta and chicken parm. When it arrived it was very disappointing. The chicken parm was soggy and smother in sun dried tomatoes. I had asked for marinara. The pasta was extremely over done and mushy. We asked for everything to go as soon as it was delivered. We couldn 't get out of there fast enough!!! Keep in mind that there was NO ONE in there. We took the food to go and walked across the street to 86 West and ate a GREAT meal. DON 'T EAT HERE!!!!
